I first met Emily last December when I photographed her sister’s beautiful, Christmas themed wedding! After doing her sister’s wedding, I fell in love with her family..seriously, they’re the best!!! So I was super excited when Emily reached out to me a few months later about photographing her wedding! Emily and Mitch are the sweetest couple ever, who absolutely adore each other! Their love for each other is so strong and their faith in God is the number one priority in their lives. I know whole heartedly that their marriage is going to be such a powerful example of Christ’s love, and the impact they’re going to have on this world will have no limit!
The day of their wedding could not have been more perfect! It was sunny and warm, and everything went according to plan (which doesn’t always happen on wedding days). Emily looked absolutely stunning in her dress, and Mitch was working his suit for sure! Their ceremony began with some sweet, and incredibly meaningful words of wisdom on marriage from Emily’s father. Followed by an exchange of vows, officiated by Emily’s grandfather, in front of all their closest friends and family. After the ceremony we drove to a nearby park and had some fun with the whole wedding party (they were quite entertaining)! They were all troopers, because at this point the sun was strong and it was HOT! After lots of cheering and lots of laughter, we then snuck Emily and Mitch away and took some beautiful portraits! The bride and groom portraits are always my favorite part of the day! It gives the bride and groom a chance to really enjoy some alone time! That’s when all the emotions from the day usually come out, and I just love being their to capture them!
Emily and Mitch, I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness!! Congratulations!!!
